The Curry’s

Its only right to think that one of the best three point shooters of all time comes from a family full of NBA basketball players. The Curry’s, are no strangers to bombing three pointers down the court. Father Dell Curry was selected by the Utah Jazz with the 15th pick in the 1986 NBA draft. The mark that he left on the basketball world though, was with his playing days with the Charlotte Hornets, where he played 10 seasons. Dell Curry would end up leaving the Hornets, also leaving the Hornets with numerous all-time records, including games played and field goals made.

Now although Dell Curry’s career was very impressive, his son Steph’s career and his rise to superstardom, obliterates any of his achievements. Steph Curry has quite literally taken over the game of basketball. Its hard to think of the NBA, without Steph Curry. Steph Curry is the NBA’s best three point shooter and can honestly hit a three from anywhere on the court. He has proven so year in and year out. Drafted seventh overall in 2009 by the Golden State Warriors, Steph has won three NBA Finals, while being named league MVP twice. He also holds the NBA’s one, two and three spots for three pointers made in one season. He has forever instilled his name in not only the game of basketball, but the NBA.

Steph’s younger brother Seth has had a harder time in the NBA and unfortunately will forever live in Steph’s shadow. After transferring from Liberty to basketball powerhouse Duke, Seth, despite averaging 17.5 points during his senior year, went undrafted. Seth has bounced around from team to team and has even played stints in the D-League. Although he isn’t at superstar like his brother Steph, he has still done something less than 1% of the population has done and thats make it to the league.
