The Thompson’s

Before Clay became part of the Splash Bros, his father was the one making three’s tearing it up in Oakland, scoring points and ripping rebounds was his game. Drafted first overall by Portland, Michael Thompson had a healthy 13 year career playing for Portland, San Antonio and The Los Angeles Lakers. As a Laker he was apart of two-championship winning teams.

Clay Thompson has had an NBA career for the record books. He was selected number 1 overall by the Golden State Warriors and has since gone to win three NBA Titles, an Olympic gold medal and is a four time All Star. He is widely known as the NBA’s best three point specialist.

The next Thompson is Trayce, who ditched the basketball court for the baseball diamond. Early on in his MLB career he has bounced around to a few different organizations. Playing for a total of four MLB teams thus far in his career. He’s batting .208 and has 22 home runs to go along with his 58 RBI’s. Although his baseball career hasn’t fully taken off, he has proven when healthy he could be a threat.

Whether it is winning championships, dunking on people or robbing home runs, the Thompsons are one of the most athletic, diverse families in all of sports.
