The Manning’s

Now let’s talk about a family who is not against winning big games. The Manning family knows one thing above anything else and that is the will to win. The original of the family, Archie Manning is a legendary Saints Quarterback. Born in Mississippi , Archie attended Ole Miss before being drafted second overall by the New Orleans Saints. His career in the NFL was not a short one either, where he played for 13 seasons. He was selected to two Pro Bowls and elected in the New Orleans Saints Hall of Fame.
The oldest brother Cooper had to unfortunately stop playing the game of football due to injury and health issues. Yet his younger brothers Peyton and Eli were next up.
Peyton Manning attended the University of Tennessee. At the University of Tennessee, Peyton had a stellar four year career, where he was nominated for three Heisman Trophies and solidified himself as one of the greatest college quarterbacks of all time. Peyton was taken first overall and had one of the greatest NFL careers of any quarterback ever. Winning 5 MVP awards and winning two Super Bowls over the span of his career.
While the youngest son Eli, had a football career that will be remembered for the rest of sports history as well. He followed in his father footsteps choosing to attend Ole Miss. Although his college career wasn’t like Peytons, he was still chosen number one overall by the San Diego chargers, later to be traded to the New York Giants. Eli guided the G-Men to two Super Bowl victories, upsetting one of the greatest football teams ever to play the game, The New England Patriots.
Yet there is one more to go. As Arch Manning is starting to make his name known as one of the top high school quarterbacks in the country. Already receiving full-ride scholarships to some of the top universities in the country. The Manning legacy might live on after all.
