The Ryan’s

Twin brothers Rex and Rob Ryan have received their fair share of attention over the years, especially since they collectively own three Super Bowl rings earned in a span of only four seasons. However, some sports fans forget that their father, Buddy Ryan, was also a college and NFL coach. In addition to stints as the Head Coach of the Arizona Cardinals and Philadelphia Eagles, Buddy was also a defensive coach with the Jets, Vikings, Bears and Oilers. He earned two rings himself, from Super Bowl III and XX.

Rob Ryan has served as a defensive coordinator or assistant coach for seven different NFL teams. He was the linebackers coach for the New England Patriots when they won both Super Bowl XXXVI and Super Bowl XXXVIII. In his time span of a coach he has been apart of many teams, those teams include, Arizona Cardinals, Oklahoma State University, New England Patriots, Oakland Raiders, Cleveland Browns, Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans Saints, Buffalo Bills and the Washington Redskins.

Rex Ryan was a former NFL coach and a current television analyst. Rex was the head coach of the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills. He has also held various coaching positions with eight other NFL and college teams. Rex Ryan has also coached for a tremendous amount of teams, those include, Eastern Kentucky, New Mexico Highlands, Morehead State, Arizona Cardinals, Cincinnati University, Oklahoma University, Kansas State, Baltimore Ravens, New York Jets, and the Buffalo Bills. After his coaching career ended, he was hired by ESPN, where he currently serves as an analyst.
