The Barber’s

Tiki and Ronde Barber are twin brothers who both competed in the NFL. Although Tiki checked out of the New York Giants organization just prior to a big Super Bowl XLII win, he nevertheless complied an impressive 10-season career that netted him 10,449 rushing and 5,183 receiving yards, as well as three Pro Bowl selections. Tiki Barber played college football for the University of Virginia. Barber was drafted by the New York Football Giants in the second round of the 1997 NFL Draft, and played his entire career in New York. Tiki retired from the NFL at the end of the 2006 season as the Giants all-time rushing and receptions leader. Following his playing career, Tiki became a national media presence, notably on joining NBC’s The Today Show and for joining Sunday Night Football.

Ronde Barber was a cornerback in the NFL where he spent his entire 16-year professional career playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He spent his college years playing for the University of Virginia, with his brother. He was selected in the third round as the 66th overall pick. Over the course of his career, Barber was selected to five Pro Bowls, accumulated three first team All-Pro selections, two second team All-Pro selections, and was selected to the NFL 2000s All-Decade Team. Barber won Super Bowl XXXVII against the Oakland Raiders. He also holds the record for most consecutive starts by a defensive back.
