The Coronavirus is attacking people not just in China where it originated, but all over the world. There are over 44,000 confirmed cases of the virus worldwide and the numbers  are growing fast. The death toll from the Coronavirus outbreak stands over 1,000 victims. Scientists and doctors are still looking for a cure to help those in desperate need. Numbers of new confirmed and suspecting cases appear to be rising, especially in foreign nations. The Philippines and Hong Kong have reported deaths as well, outside mainland China. I believe the real question here is when is this virus going to be cured. We have seen  outbreaks like this in the past, but they have been solved in less than 2 months. This case seems to be a tad different then all the others this world has encounter. For some reason, this virus is sticking around and as it does so people are losing their lives. It’s sad to think about because 4 months ago this wasn’t even a thought in people’s heads, but today it’s the only thing they worry about. As a outsider looking into the situation, there needs to be some kind of reassurance from a high power, like the government, that they have this under control. Or are at least attempting to control the problem. Because without that reassurance, this seems like another population control act from the government. 

While things seem to be growing across the world, America has yet to have any issues with this virus. I believe there has been 6 American deaths due to this virus. Which in the grand scheme of things are nothing. America has always done a great job of keeping there people safe and healthy. Especially in times of need. When the swine flu went viral, our doctors and scientists had that solved in under two weeks. What more can you ask for from such a developed country. It’s sad that China, just can’t figure it out but answers need to start coming from there government because people are losing their minds of this epidemic. As the article stated, “it’s a worldwide problem only happening in China.” This epidemic needs to be put to rest already. 

At the end of the day, this virus took us all by surprise and it’s time for it to go away. People needs there lives back without this thought looming  over there head everyday. Things need to change and they need to change fast. Because without change, the people will start losing hope. And without hope nothing will ever happen to make this situation a better one.
